Description

Sodium Petroleum Sulphonate / Sulfonate is obtained from sulfonation of base oil, neutralised by Sodium Hydroxide. The Product mainly works as a Surface Active Agent, Emulsification & Dispersion of Liquid’s, Wetting & Dispersion of Liquid – Solid System, Inhibition of Rust & Corrosion, Dispersion & Wetting of Solids.

Application

Sodium Petroleum Sulphonate / Sulfonate is widely used in the manufacture of Soluble Cutting Oils, Emulsifiers of Soluble Cutting Oil, Rust Preventives, Leather Chemicals / Fat Liquor, Metal Treatment Chemicals, Textile Auxiliaries, ore Flotation Chemicals, Inks etc. Sodium petroleum sulphonate / sulfonate product is miscible with Oil and Solvent.

Calcium Petroleum Sulphonate / Sulfonate is used in Manufacture of Greases, Rust Preventive Compounds in gasoline and Diesel Engine oils to control piston deposits and Hydraulic oils as detergent additive. Calcium Petroleum Sulphonate is used in formulation of Metal Working Fluids- Rust preventives giving good high resistance to humidity and Salt Water Spray Test. Calcium Petroleum Sulphonate is also used as emulsifies in Pesticide.

Barium Petroleum Sulphonate / Sulfonate is used as an excellent Corrosion / Rust Inhibitor & recommended for manufacture of Greases, Metal Working Fluids- Rust Preventives as it gives better Protective Coating Films, good high resistance to humidity and Salt Water Spray Test., as a detergent in Fuel Additives. Barium Petroleum Sulphonate product is soluble in oil and solvents.
